State Farm Prep Classic Set For The Weekend

The 2011 LHSAA State Farm Prep Classic is set for this weekend, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, in New Orleans.

Action kicks-off on Friday, with two state championship games on the schedule.

In the Class 1A state tile game, Ouachita Christian takes on West St. John at 3 pm, followed by the Class 4a championship game, pitting Neville and Edna Karr, at 7 pm.

On Saturday, three title games will be on the line.

At 11 am, it will be the Class 2A title game, with John Curtis taking on Winnfield.

That will be followed by Amite and St. Charles in the 3A championship game, at 3 pm.

The nightcap on Saturday will feature the Carencro High Bears vying for the 5A state crown, as they take on the West Monroe Rebels, with kick-off scheduled for 7 o'clock.
