Best Known For: A three-time All-Star pitcher, Jim Perry played for the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics from 1959 to 1975. He won the 1970 American League Cy Young Award while with the Twins. He is the older brother of Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry. They are the only brother duo in MLB history to win the Cy Young Award.

Dick Vermeil

Profession: Retired NFL Coach
Best Known For: The often emotional head coach of the Super Bowl XXXIV-champion St. Louis Rams, Dick Vermeil also coached the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs during his NFL career. After taking a 15-year hiatus from coaching after leading the Eagles from 1976 to 1982, Vermeil coached the Rams from 1997 to 1999, He was named NFL Coach of the Year. Vermeil coached the Chiefs from 2001 to 2005. Vermeil has also served as a broadcast analyst on football games.

Profession: Retired Soccer Player
Best Known For: Thought by many to be among the greatest soccer players of all time, Diego Maradona of Argentina played in four World Cup tournaments for his country. In 1986, he captained Argentina to the championship and was awarded the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player. In his team’s victory over England in the 1986 quarterfinals, Maradona scored twice, once with a uncalled handball — the “Hand of God” goal — and another with a mad sprint through England’s defense.

Best Known For: Winner of the Heisman Trophy in 1990 while at Brigham Young University, quarterback Ty Detmer played in the NFL from 1992 to 2005 with the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons.
