Best Known For: A two-time Olympic figure skating medalist, American Nancy Kerrigan won the silver medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway and bronze at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Prior to the 1994 Winter Games, Kerrigan was d hit in the right knee with a metal baton by Shane Stant during the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at Cobo Arena in Detroit. It was later uncovered that the assault was planned by Jeff Gillooly, the husband of her figure skating rival Tonya Harding.

Best Known For: A four-time medal-winning swimmer at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Summer Sanders won gold medals in the 200-meter butterfly and in the 400-meter medley relay.
