Minnie Miñoso
Age: 87
Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A nine-time All-Star outfielder, Minnie Miñoso played for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Senators from 1949 to 1963. In 1951, Miñoso became the first black player on the White Sox. He returned to pinch hit for the White Sox in 1976 and 1980, becoming one of only two players (along with Nick Altrock) in major league history to appear in five separate decades. Miñoso won three Gold Glove Awards for his defense. He led the American League in triples and stolen bases three times each.

Vin Scully
Age: 85
Profession: Broadcaster
Best Known For: Vin Scully has been a broadcaster for the Dodgers’ organization since 1950. Scully also served as the broadcaster for NBC from 1983 to 1989. He has called some of the greatest moments in the history of the game, including Don Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series; Bill Buckner’s error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series and Kirk Gibson’s game-winning home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.

Jerry Lawler
Age: 63
Profession: Pro Wrestler
Best Known For: Known to wrestling fans as ‘The King,’ Jerry Lawler has been involved with various professional wrestling promotions since 1970. He has won more than 100 wrestling titles during his career, including championships in the American Wrestling Association and National Wrestling Alliance. Lawler had a staged public feud with comedian Andy Kaufman in the early 1980s, including several wrestling matches and a fight on ‘Late Night with David Letterman.’ Lawler suffered an actual heart attack during a broadcast of ‘Monday Night RAW’ in September of 2012.

Mariano Rivera
Age: 43
Profession: MLB Player
Best Known For: By almost every measure, Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees is the greatest relief pitcher in baseball history. A 12-time All-Star, Rivera has played for the Yankees since 1995. He is the all-time major league leader in saves with 608. He was a key member of the Yankees’ teams that won the World Series in 1996, 1998 through 2000 and 2009. He is a five-time winner of the American League Rolaids Relief Man Award. Rivera holds the record for lowest earned run average (0.70) and most saves (42) in post-season history. He enters games in which he pitches to the music of the Metallica song ‘Enter Sandman.’

Jamal Mashburn
Age: 40
Profession: Retired NBA Player / Broadcaster
Best Known For: An All-Star forward, Jamal Mashburn played with the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Charlotte / New Orleans Hornets during his career from 1993 to 2004. He played his college basketball at Kentucky, where he was named an All-American in 1993. He is currently a basketball analyst for ESPN.
