Prior to his tenure at NBC, Michaels worked for ABC Sports from 1977 to 2006, calling 'Monday Night Football,' the U.S. Olympic hockey victory over the Soviets in 1980 and Game 3 of the 1989 World Series, which was interrupted by an earthquake just prior to game time.

Nadia Comaneci

Profession: Retired Gymnast
Best Known For: The first female gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10 in an Olympic gymnastic event, Romaniann athlete Nadia Comaneci won three gold medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal and two additional gold medals at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Comaneci was a contestant on the celebrity edition of the reality television program 'The Apprentice' in 2008. She is married to former U.S. gymnast Bart Conner.

Sammy Sosa

Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A seven-time All-Star outfielder, Sammy Sosa played for the Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs and Baltimore Orioles from 1989 to 2007. In 1998, Sosa and Mark McGwire chased Roger Maris' longstanding record for home runs in a single-season. Both hitters topped Maris' mark of 61: McGwire finished with 70 and Sosa with 66. Sosa is the only player to hit more than 60 home runs in three separate seasons (1998, 1999 and 2001). He finished his career with 609 home runs, which currently ranks eighth in MLB history. In 2009, Sosa was reported to have been on a list of players who had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003. While testifying in front of a congressional committee in 2005, Sosa claimed he had never used such drugs.

Tonya Harding

Best Known For: A two-time Olympian, Tonya Harding won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1991. Harding's ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly, and another man hired an assailant to injure U.S. skater Nancy Kerrigan, Harding's rival, at the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit. Harding served a three-year probation sentence due to her involvement in the cover-up of the incident. Harding has since had a brief career as a boxer.

Corey Maggette

Profession: NBA Player
Best Known For: Corey Maggette is a small forward for the Detroit Pistons. He has played with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats and Pistons since being selected in the first round of the 1999 NBA Draft. Maggette played college basketball at Duke.
