Profession: Former NFL Running Back
Best Known For: Sayers was drafted by the Chicago Bears along with legendary linebacker Dick Butkus in the 1965 NFL Draft. Although Sayers played only seven seasons in the NFL, he amassed nearly 5,000 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns in his career. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. During his playing career, Sayers nickname was “The Kansas Comet.”

P.J. Carlesimo
Age: 63
Profession: Former NBA/College Basketball Head Coach
Best Known For: P.J. Carlesimo’s first big break in coaching came in college with the Seton Hall Pirates in 1982. He eventually guided the team to the 1989 NCAA championship game only to fall to the University of Michigan. After leaving college for the NBA, Carlesimo was the head coach for the Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle SuperSonics and Oklahoma City Thunder. Carlesimo’s most notable moment came in 1997 when it was alleged that Warriors guard Latrell Sprewell choked him during a Golden State practice.

Manny Ramirez
Age: 39
Profession: Former MLB Outfielder
Best Known For: Ramirez’s Major LeagueBaseball career started with the Cleveland Indians in 1993 and spanned 18 seasons. He hit 555 home runs in his career and drove in 1,831 RBIs. Ramirez most notably helped the Boston Red Sox in 2004 win their first World Series since 1918. Nearing the end of his career, Manny was suspended by Major League Baseball for 100 games after failing a drug test. He is also known for the term, “Manny Being Manny.” The Oakland Athletics signed him for the 2012 season. Currently in the minors, he is eligible to play once he serves his 50 game suspension for violating the drug policy.

Je’Rod Cherry

Profession: Former NFL Safety
Best Known For: Je’Rod Cherry was a second-round draft pick by the New Orleans Saints in 1996. He played for the Saints for four seasons. In 2001, Cherry joined the New England Patriots and won three Super Bowl rings with the team as a key member of their special teams unit. Currently, Cherry is a sports talk show host in Cleveland, Ohio.

Steven Gerrard

Profession: British Soccer Player
Best Known For: Gerrard is arguably one of the greatest British soccer players of all-time. During his playing career with Premier League’s Liverpool, Gerrard has scored 89 goals. Gerrard was the captain of England’s World Cup team in 2010 and has been the captain for Liverpool’s UEFA Cup runs in 2000 and 2004.
