Best Known For: A seven-time All-Star while playing for the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League from 1962 to 1969, Lance Alworth was considered to be the best wide receiver in pro football during the 1960s. Alworth was a member of the AFL champion-Chargers in 1963 and a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ team that won Super Bowl VI. he was selected as part of the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team. Alworth was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978.

Marcel Dionne

Profession: Retired NFL Player
Best Known For: A 10-time All-Star, Marcel Dionne played center for 18 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. While in Los Angeles, Dionne was the center of the “Triple Crown Line” with Charlie Simmer and Dave Taylor. Dionne won the Lester B. Pearson Award in 1979 and 1980 as the game’s most outstanding player. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992.

Best Known For: A four-time All-Star third baseman, Troy Glaus played for the Anaheim Angels, Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves from 1998 to 2010. Glaus was the American League home run champion in 2000, smacking 47 homers for the Angels. Glaus was the Most Valuable Player of the 2002 World Series, won by the Angels over the San Francisco Giants.
