Special Teams Captain Courtney Roby Re-Signs With Saints

New Orleans Saints special teams ace Courtney Roby joined the team in 2009. He reached a 1 year deal to return to the club a year ago, and now he's done it again this offseason after agreeing to a new contract today.

Roby, who was voted as the special teams captain by his peers last season, is the first Saints' unrestricted free agent to re-sign with the club this year.

While Roby has served as a kick returner and backup wide receiver, his primary strength for the Saints has been on kickoff and punt coverage, as well as punt protection. His football instincts and IQ allow him to take proper angles when tackling an opposing return man.
