The Southeastern Conference is ready to bring Missouri into the fold, according to sources

, and is willing to wait until everything in the Big 12 shakes out.

Missouri has been public in saying it hoped the Big 12 could stay together, but with four schools likely headed to the Pac-12, it appears more and more as though Mizzou would be looking for a new home.

Because of the threat of legal action, the SEC will probably not release anything unless or until the two Oklahoma and two Texas schools announce they're leaving the Big 12.
