The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team lost its home opener Friday, falling to McNeese State 2-0 at the Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.

The match was moved to Lafayette because of the threat of Hurricane Harvey.

Havana Johnson scored both goals for McNeese, hitting her first in the 56th minute and putting the match away eleven minutes later with her second goal.

The Cajuns were scheduled to meet Ole Miss on Sunday, but that match has been cancelled because of the threat of Hurricane Harvey.

The Cajuns, 0-3 on the young season, travel to Southeastern Louisiana next Friday before hosting Northwestern State on Sunday.
