Quarterback Drew Brees has certainly helped turn around the fortunes of the New Orleans Saints.

Brees signed with the Saints prior to the 2006 season, and promptly guided them to the NFC Championship game.

Just three years later, Brees led the Saints to their first Super Bowl title.

Now in his sixth year in the Black and Gold, Brees has throw for 24,328 yards, along with 245 touchdowns, while appearing in three Pro Bowls.

This is the last year of Brees' contract with the Saints however, and as of now, the two sides remain far apart.

Exactly how much does Brees mean to the Saints?

Is he deserving of becoming the highest paid player in the NFL?
