Shawntell Alfred Makes St. Martinville Girls Basketball History

Shawntell Alfred has made history Wednesday. According to our news partners at KATC, Shawntell, the captain of the St. Martinville High School's girls basketball team, has accepted a full paid scholarship to Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama.

Shawntell is the first girls basketball player in school history to receive that honor. She is a senior who has been playing for four years.
