Shawn Long & Bryce Washington Apologize For Arkansas State Postgame Comments

Ragin' Cajun basketballers Shawn Long and Bryce Washington apologize to the media for their comments ("I'm thankful") after the Arkansas State game.

Following last Thursday's win over Arkansas State, Long, Washigton and Hayward Register didn't offer much in the postgame press conference. Long answered all questions with "I'm Thankful", mimicking similar behavior of Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook.

As both players explained, it was a simple misunderstanding and an attempt at humor. None of the young men meant anything offensive. Kudos to both for their apology, as everyone (players and media alike) can move on.

Register would've been at the podium as well, but had school commitments during the press conference.
