SEC Tourney Day Two Recap

The second day of play of the 2012 SEC Baseball Tournament, taking place at Regions Park in Hoover, Alabama, is in the books.

There were four games on Wednesday, and the underdog came out victorious in each one.

In the opener, the ninth-seeded Ole Miss Rebels eliminated the sixth-seeded Arkansas Razorbacks, 2-0.

In the second game of the day, the seventh-seeded Mississippi St. Bulldogs upset the top-seeded LSU Tigers, 3-2.

LSU will take on Ole Miss in an elimination game on Thursday morning at 9:30 am.

In game three, the tenth-seeded Auburn Tigers eliminated the 8th-seeded Georgia Bulldogs, 3-2.

And in the final game of the day, the fifth-seeded Vanderbilt Commodores defeated the second-seeded South Carolina Gamecocks, 3-2, keeping Vanderbilt unbeaten in the tourney.
