Sean Payton Announces Roster Moves During Thanksgiving Day Press Conference

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton met with media members on Thanksgiving Day, three days before his team is scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Payton announced the team has placed nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley on injured reserve with a leg injury and have added Lawrence Virgil, a rookie nose tackle from Valdosta St., from the practice squad.

Also on Thursday, the Saints added Garrison Smith, a defensive tackle out of Georgia, to the practice squad

The Saints, who will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak on Sunday, are currently 4-7, and tied for first-place with the Atlanta Falcons atop the NFC South.
