The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a 3-year deal with left-handed pitcher Scott Kazmir on Wednesday.

The deal is for three years and $48 million and contains an opt-out after the first year.

The 31-year old Kazmir had a combined 7-11 record, along with a 3.11 ERA., while splitting time between the Oakland A's and the Houston Astros last season.

In 272 career games, Kazmir has compiled an overall record of 98-90, with a 3.96 ERA.
