Sports Illustrated likes the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to win the Sun Belt title and appear in the NCAA Tournament.

The coaches around the league, however, don't think that will happen.

In the preseason poll released today, defending regular season champion UTA is picked to finish first.  And, the race is pretty close, especially looking at #2 through #5.

UTA got nine first place votes and 128 points overall.  Louisiana was picked fifth by the coaches with 113 points.  Georgia State was second with 116 points, Troy with 115 and Georgia Southern with 114.  The Cajuns had one first place vote.

Kevin Hervey was selected to repeat as Player of the Year.  Teammate Erick Neal, Georgia Southern guards Ike Smith and Tookie Brown and Troy's Jordan Varnado were first team preseason all-league selections.

Cajuns forward Bryce Washington was selected to the second team, while guard Frank Bartley IV was a third team choice.
