There were four games involving Sun Belt schools on Saturday, but only one that was a league game.

Earlier in the week, Appalachian State overpowered Arkansas State, while Georgia Southern squeaked by Texas State.

ULM 45, COASTAL CAROLINA 20--The Warhawks led by just four late in the third quarter, but Caleb Evans scored twice on the ground, and Derrick Gore added a late touchdown as ULM (3-4, 1-2) pulled away for the win.  Marcus Outlow rushed for over 100 yards for the Chanticleers (3-3, 1-2), who turned it over three times.

LIBERTY 22, TROY 16--The loss of quarterback Kaleb Barker proved to be a big blow for the Trojans as they fell on the road Saturday.  Steven Calbert's touchdown pass to B. J. Farrow late in the fourth quarter capped an 89 yard drive for the Flames (3-3).  Sawyer Smith had 135 yards passing for the Trojans (5-2)

SOUTH ALABAMA 45, ALABAMA STATE 7--The Jaguars (2-5) snapped a three game losing streak with a win over their SWAC opponent.  Evan Orth completed 12-15 for 155 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown for South Alabama.  Alabama State is now 2-4 on the season.

LOUISIANA 66, NEW MEXICO STATE 38--Andre Nunez tied a school record with five touchdown passes and the Cajuns (3-3) rolled up a school record 759 yards of offense in the rout of the Aggies (2-5).  Elijah Mitchell had his second straight 100 yard rushing game and Trey Ragas and Raymond Calais each gained 90 or more yards in the win.
