It was a home court kind of week in the Sun Belt Conference.

Of the twelve games played this week, eleven were won by the home team.

Louisiana got two of those home wins, including last night's 81-64 win over Coastal Carolina to go to 4-0 in the league.
Here are the rest of Saturday's scores.

GEORGIA STATE 79, ARKANSAS STATE 75--In Atlanta,  Jeff Thomas hit a triple with :32 seconds left to break a tie and 11-put the Panthers (11-6, 2-2) ahead for good.  Arkansas State (6-11,1-3) was playing with eight scholarship players due to suspensions.  D'Marcus Simonds led GSU with 33 points.  Devin Simms had 24 for the Red Wolves.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN 72, LITTLE ROCK 69--Tookie Brown hit a three point basket at the buzzer to give the Eagles (12-5, 3-1) the win in Statesboro.  Little Rock (4-13, 1-3) had come back from a double digit deficit to take a two point lead with just over four minutes to play and the teams went back and forth the rest of the way.

APPALACHIAN STATE 79, ULM 73--Appalachian State rallied from a ten point deficit to defeat ULM at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe for their first true road win in 409 days.  App State (8-9, 3-1) finally took the lead on a pair of free throws with just over two minutes left.  Ronshad Shabazz, who was held in check Thursday night against Louisiana, had 22 points to lead the Mountaineers, while ULM (7-8, 1-3) was led by Jordan Harris with 17.

UTA 91, SOUTH ALABAMA 67--Johnny Hamilton and Kevin Hervey both had double doubles as the Mavericks (11-6, 2-2) evened their conference record.  Hamilton had 18 points and twelve boards while Hervey had 16 and ten.  UTA was up eight at intermission but went on a 15-0 run in the second half to win going away.  The Jaguars (8-8, 2-2) were led by Roderick Sikes with 16 points, while Herb McGee added 14.

TEXAS STATE 57, TROY 56--Alex Peacock got a put-back bucket with :04 left to score the game winner for Texas State (10-7, 3-1).  Nijal Pearson had missed a three pointer, but Peacock snared the offensive rebound.  Troy (7-10, 1-3) had a chance to win it, but B. J. Miller missed a layup at the buzzer.

NEXT THURSDAY'S GAMES:  Georgia Southern at Coastal Carolina, Georgia State at Appalachian State, UTA at Little Rock, Texas State at Arkansas State.  Louisiana, ULM, South Alabama and Troy have the night off.
