The Cleveland Browns passed on Michael Thomas to get Corey Coleman in the 2016 draft.

The Buffalo Bills are acquiring wide receiver Corey Coleman from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2020 7th round draft pick.

Coleman is a former first round draft pick by the Browns. He has missed 13 games in the past two years.  He's tallied up just 56 of 131 targets over 19 games.

The Browns traded the no. 2 overall draft pick to Philadelphia so that they could acquire quarterback Carson Wentz. Then the Browns passed on Michael Thomas and went for Corey Coleman.

After the trade was announced, someone threw out that the Browns had indeed passed on Thomas, who then had this to say:
