The New Orleans Saints traveled to Baltimore to face a tough opponent in the Ravens on Sunday and came away with a solid win as Justin Tucker missed an extra point which would have tied the game at 24 with 24 seconds remaining. Instead, New Orleans avoided overtime and won the game 24-23 and improved to 5-1 on the season.

Last week the Saints ranked fourth and this week they've stayed steady at four in the latest ESPN NFL Power Rankings.

The Top Five is as so:

  1. Los Angeles Rams (7-0) Steady at 1
  2. Kansas City Chiefs (6-1) Up one to 2
  3. New England Patriots (5-2) Down one from 2
  4. New Orleans Saints (5-1) Steady at 4
  5. Los Angeles Chargers (5-2) Up three from 8

Not too much movement within the top five except for the Ravens falling out and the Chargers climbing up three spots into the top five.

A couple teams who made big leaps were the Carolina Panthers who jumped from 13 to nine with their comeback victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. On the other hand, there are the Jacksonville Jaguars who continue their descent down the rankings as they fell from 11 to 15 this week after another tough loss.

The Saints continue their tough stretch of opponents this week as they travel to the site where their season ended last year, Minnesota to take on the Vikings.
