The New Orleans Saints got a narrow victory in week two and if it was against anybody other than the Cleveland Browns, they would have lost. Nevertheless, they got the win and move to 1-1.

Despite the ugly win, the Saints remain in the top 10 of the NFL powers this week. Last week we saw a great offensive performance and spotty defense, this week they were flipped.

Last week the Saints ranked ninth and this week they've stayed steady at ninth in the latest ESPN NFL Power Rankings.

The Top Five is as so:

  1. Los Angeles Rams (2-0) Up three from 4
  2. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-0) Up three from 5
  3. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) Up three from 6
  4. New England Patriots (1-1) Down two from 2
  5. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) Down four from 1

There were really no surprises in the top 5 this week as the Patriots played the Jags and lost and the Eagles played the incredible Tampa Bay Bucs and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

For the Saints, a win is a win is a win but it was sort of still disappointing because of the fact they still turned the ball over twice on offense but at least the defense looked better.
