Saints’ Will Smith Arrested In Lafayette

New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith was arrested early Saturday morning, in Lafayette, and charged with simple battery, and domestic abuse. Danny Cox, of the New Orleans Sports Examiner, has the story, below.

On Thursday, he was a part of a tremendous comeback by the New Orleans Saints in a victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Early Saturday morning, defensive end Will Smith was arrested.

Fox 8's Rob Ennis is reporting that Smith was arrested Saturday and booked on charges of simple battery and domestic abuse. Word is that Smith was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife at the time they were leaving a Lafayette nightclub.
