New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks sat out yesterday's practice. The team listed him as out with a concussion, but Cooks told the media today he never actually had a concussion.

Cooks explained that he felt concussion like symptoms during Wednesday's practice, then went through the proper testing protocol to make sure he was okay. Cooks says he plans to play Sunday. He is officially listed as probable.

Two Saints are officially ruled out in guard Jahri Evans (ankle) and defensive tackle John Jenkins (concussion).

New Orleans offensive tackles Terron Armstead (knee) and Zach Strief (shoulder), cornerbacks Delvin Breaux (hamstring) and Brian Dixon (abdomen), wide receivers Marques Colston and Willie Snead (calf), linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hip) and defensive tackle Bobby Richardson (hamstring) are all probable, making it highly likely they'll play.

Saints running back Mark Ingram was put on IR earlier this week, leaving New Orleans with C.J. Spiller, Tim Hightower and rookie Marcus Murphy at running back.

Tampa Bay is listing defensive end Jacquies Smith as OUT, defensive end George Johnson as doubtful, linebacker Lavonte David as questionable, and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy as questionable.

The Buccaneers list the following 7 players as probable: cornerback Jude Adjei-Barimah, linebacker Bruce Carter, offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus, defensive tackle Will Gholston, wide receiver Vincent Jackson, guard Logan Mankins, and guard Evan Smith.

New Orleans (4-8) travels to Tampa Bay for an NFC South showdown with the Buccaneers (6-6) this Sunday. Kickoff is set for noon.
