The New Orleans Saints are less than 70 hours  away from opening the 2018 season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Thursday's official injury report saw several changes from Wednesday's report.

New Orleans Saints starting left guard Andrus Peat did not practice yesterday due to a left quad injury, but was officially listed as LP (limited in practice) today.

“Andrus is recovering fine, he’s doing well,” head coach Sean Payton said after yesterday's practice. “It’s just going to be day-to-day with him."

Backup guard Josh LiRebeus worked with the first team offense yesterday while Peat is sidelined.

Backup offensive lineman Jermon Bushrod didn't practice Thursday, though the reason given was "not injury related".

Tampa Bay's injury report is identical to the one they released yesterday.

Defensive tackle Vita Vea, Tampa Bay's rookie first round pick, was listed as DNP with a calf injury for the second straight day, while the same three other Bucs were LP (limited in practice).

Buccaneers offensive tackle Donovan Smith (knee), guard Evan Smith (hip) and cornerback M.J. Steward (foot) were all listed as LP (limited in practice).
