According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the New Orleans Saints will work out CFL cornerback Delvin Breaux.

Breaux is a New Orleans native who spent time at LSU as a student coach.

Breaux prepped at McDonogh 35, but suffered a serious neck injury in 2006.

After making a full recovery, Breaux played arena football with the New Orleans Voodoo before signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in 2013.

Breaux accumulated 62 tackles and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown, in two seasons at cornerback with the Tiger-Cats.

The Saints have signed two CFL players in recent years, inking Tom Johnson in 2011, and Marcus Ball last February. Johnson played defensive tackle for three years in New Orleans, before signing with the Vikings last offseason. Ball played special teams and safety last year, and is currently under contract for next season.

Breaux, 25, has already met with a dozen NFL teams, and is currently scheduled for 3 more in addition to his workout with the Saints.

As a current CFL player, he is not eligible to sign with an NFL team until February 10th.
