Saints To Play In Hall Of Fame Game

 The New Orleans Saints will play 5 preseason games this season after volunteering for the annual Hall of Fame Game in early August.

The Saints wish to participate in the game has to do with one of the greatest players in the history of their franchise. New Orleans wanted their play to coincide with long time Saint Willie Roaf's (pictured left) induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

New Orleans opponent for the game has not been determined at this time. The rest of the Saints preseason schedule will be released at a later date.

The Saints participated in the 2007 Hall of Fame game with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last year's Hall of Fame game was canceled due to the NFL lockout.
