Saints Roll Past Dolphins, 38-17

The New Orleans Saints kept their early 2013 perfect record intact, after defeating the Miami Dolphins, 38-17, in NFL Monday Night Football action, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Monday night.
New Orleans led at the half, 21-10, and then outscored Miami, 17-7, in the second half, to capture their ninth-consecutive game on Monday night.
The Saints out-gained the Dolphins, in terms of total yards, 465-331, including a 397-216 advantage through the air.
Quarterback Drew Brees led the way for New Orleans, completing 30-of-39 passes for 413 yards, along with four touchdowns.
The 300-yard passing game was the ninth-consecutive one for Brees, which ties his own NFL record, and also gives him nine 300-yard passing games on Monday Night Football, which ties Brett Favre for the most ever.
Darren Sproles (114) and Jimmy Graham (100) both reached the century mark in receiving yards, while Marques Colston fell just short (96).
In a losing cause for Miami, quarterback Ryan Tannehill went 22-of-35 through the air, for 249 yards, but was also intercepted three times.
With the victory, the Saints improved to 4-0 on the year, while the Dolphins fell to 3-1.
New Orleans returns to action on Sunday, when they travel to Chicago, Illinois, to take on the Chicago Bears.
