The New Orleans Saints have created some much needed cap space by restructuring the contract of defensive end Cameron Jordan.

By converting Jordan's $6 million roster bonus into a signing bonus, the Saints created $4.8 million in cap space.

The 26-year old Jordan signed a five year, $55MM contract extension with the Saints in June of 2015.

A product of California, Jordan was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jordan has compiled 240 tackles, along with 39 sacks, in his five seasons with the Saints.
