New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is heading to the Pro Bowl, replacing Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch, who isn't playing in the All-Star game since his team is competing in the Super Bowl.

The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner is the first Saints running back to play in a Pro Bowl since Deuce McAllister.

Ingram is the fourth RB replacement for the game, joining RBs Justin Forsett of the Ravens, Alfred Morris of the Redskins, and C.J. Anderson of the Broncos, who replaced RBs Arian Foster of the Texans, LeSean McCoy of the Eagles, and Le'Veon Bell of the Steelers. All three pulled out with injuries.

At 5'9, 215 pounds, Ingram is coming off his best season with the Saints, leading the squad in rushing with a career-best 964 yards and 9 touchdowns. He missed three games early in the season with a broken hand.

Ingram's rookie contract just ended with the Saints, as he'll be an unrestricted free agent this March.
