The New Orleans Saints made six roster moves the day before their season opener, releasing two, placing one on IR and signing three to the active 53 man roster.

Linebacker Davis Tull was placed on injured reserve, while veteran running back Tim Hightower and offensive lineman Mike McGlynn (pictured left) were both released.

Wide receiver Seantavius Jones, fullback Toben Opurum were both promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, and defensive back Don Jones inked a deal to the active roster as well.

With four players listed as OUT (previously 5, but Tull now on IR) for the Saints on Sunday, a number of the current roster moves may be reflective of special teams depth.

New Orleans kicks off their regular season Sunday in Arizona against the Cardinals. Kickoff is set for 3:05.
