Despite not giving an injury update on tight end Jimmy Graham, the New Orleans Saints are confident their All-Pro will be healthy and ready to play the Buffalo Bills in Week 8, this according to espn.com's Chris Mortensen.

Mortensen reports that Graham is...

still having his left foot evaluated but there is a sense of optimism in the organization that he will be able to play after the bye week, according to league sources.

Considering the Saints and head coach Sean Payton can be rather secretive when it comes to injuries, I don't know how much stock I put into this report.

Graham had an MRI on the injured foot today, with no update at all. Had he been okay, Payton would've updated his status immediately. Had it been season-ending, he would be on IR. One has to worry that this foot injury could linger. Luckily for the Saints, they enter a bye week, giving Graham two weeks to recover.

The Saints (5-1) return to action at home on November 27th to host the Bills. Kickoff is set for noon. Catch all the action, including postgame and the "Point After" with Bobby Hebert and Deke Belevia, on ESPN1420.
