The New Orleans Saints return to action on Sunday afternoon, when they hit the road to take on the Washington Redskins in a key NFC contest.

Kickoff time at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The game marks the first of a two-game road stretch for the Saints.

New Orleans, who had their three-game win streak snapped last Sunday, after falling to the Tennessee Titans, 34-28, in overtime, will enter the game at 4-5, while Washington, Tennessee, who lost to the New England Patriots, 27-10, last week, is currently 3-5.

The Redskins lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 16-8, and have won three of the last four meetings, including a 40-32 win over the Saints back in 2012, the last meeting between the two.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 26.8 points-per-game, along with 421.7 total yards, including 326.7 passing yards, and 95.0 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 2,763 yards and 18 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 584 yards and 5 touchdowns, and receiver Brandin Cooks, who has caught 45 passes for 603 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Redskins, offensively, are averaging 19.8 points, 329.0 total yards, 237.8 passing yards, and 91.3 rushing yards a game.

Washington is paced by quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has thrown for 1,954 yards and 10 touchdowns, running back Alfred Morris, who has rushed for 312 yards, and receiver Pierre Garcon, who has caught 41 passes for 420 yards and 4 scores.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 414.8 yards-per-game, including 292.2 passing yards and 122.6 rushing yards, while the Redskins are allowing 372.9 total yards, including 240.4 passing yards and 132.5 rushing yards.
