The New Orleans Saints return to action on Sunday afternoon, when they travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Carolina Panthers in an NFC South showdown.

Kickoff time at the Bank of America is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The game marks the first of three of the next five that the Saints will play away from New Orleans.

New Orleans, who fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 26-19, last Sunday, will enter the game at 0-2, while Carolina, who defeated the Houston Texans, 24-17, last week, is currently unbeaten, at 2-0.
The Panthers lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 21-19, and have won three of the last four over the Saints.

New Orleans, who will be without the services of quarterback Drew Brees, is led by running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 77 yards and a score, and receiver Brandin Cooks, who was caught 9 passes for 111 yards.

The Panthers, offensively, are averaging 22.0 points, 306.5 total yards, 168.0 passing yards, and 138.5 rushing yards a game.

Carolina is paced by rookie quarterback Cam Newton, who thrown for 370 yards and 3 touchdowns, running back Jonathan Stewart, who has rushed for 118 yards, and tight end Greg Olsen, who has caught 7 passes for 81 yards.

Defensively, the Saints are giving an average of 380.0 yards-per-game, including 250.5 passing yards and 129.5 rushing yards, while the Panthers are allowing 282.5 total yards, including 204.0 passing yards and 78.5 rushing yards.
