New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees both said they saw considerably more blitzing by the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons defenses over the past two weeks than they have seen for the majority of the last two years. Atlanta, in particular, brought a lot more pressure than it had in previous games this season.

Defenses have traditionally shied away from the blitz against the Saints for the most part, because Brees is so good at making them pay for it by finding the receivers who are left open. But the Saints didn't hold up well against the blitz early in the last two games before they eventually adjusted their offensive game plan.
