Another day another New Orleans Saints player heading to injured reserve. Tuesday it was offensive lineman Zach Strief and Wednesday it's rookie linebacker Alex Anzalone.

Anzalone injured his right shoulder early in the win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in London.

The rookie linebacker was drafted in the third round of this past years draft out of Florida where he had struggled with shoulder issues in the past.

It's a little disappointing to see Anzalone land on IR, especially this early in the season. He was a contributing member of the team so far recording 16 combined tackles, a sack, and a pass defended.

Hopefully he'll be able to overcome these shoulder issues that have plagued him over the past few years. The Saints are hopeful he'll be a long term contributor for them in the future and part of the defensive youth movement they've been deploying in recent years.
