Saints K Shayne Graham Named NFC Special Teams Player Of The Month

New Orleans Saints kicker Shayne Graham takes heat from some members of the Who Dat Nation, but his performance this month has been impressive.

Graham is a perfect 9-9 on field goals and 9-9 on PATs so far in the month of October. While the Saints play tonight, the league views it as a Week 9 game, and all stats accumulated this evening will factor into the month of November as it pertains to the NFL handing out its monthly awards.

Last Sunday in a win over the Green Bay Packers, Graham accumulated 14 points.

He signed with the Saints late last season after the team waived kicker Garrett Hartley. Graham was a perfect 4-4 on field goals in the Saints playoff Wild Card win at Philadelphia last January.
