The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a showdown of NFC South foes.

Kickoff time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. is scheduled for 3:25 pm, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420 and 97.3 The Dawg.

The match-up will serve as the Saints' 2016 home finale.

The Saints lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 29-19, but the Buccaneers won the first meeting between the two teams this year, capturing a 16-11 triumph in Tampa, Florida two weeks ago.

New Orleans, who beat the Arizona Cardinals, 48-41, last week, is 6-8 on the season, while Tampa Bay, who lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 26-20, last week, will enter the match-up at 8-6.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 29.0 points-per-game, along with 423.3 total yards, including 317.1 passing yards, and 106.2 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 4,559 yards and 34 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 850 yards and three touchdowns, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 76 passes for 883 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Buccaneers, offensively, are averaging 22.4 points, 349.5 total yards, 248.4 passing yards, and 101.1 rushing yards a game this season.

Tampa Bay is paced by quarterback Jameis Winston, who has thrown for 3,611 yards and 25 touchdowns, along with running back Doug Martin, who has rushed for 421 yards and three touchdowns, and receiver Mike Evans, who has compiled 84 receptions for 1,159 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 370.9 yards-per-game, including 261.4 passing yards and 99.6 rushing yards, while the Buccaneers have allowed 366.8 total yards, including 250.8 passing yards and 116.0 rushing yards.
