The game marks the middle game of a three-game home stand for the Saints.

The Saints fell to the San Francisco 49ers, 27-24, in overtime last Sunday, to fall to 4-5 on the season, while the Bengals, who lost to the Cleveland Browns, 24-3, back on November 6, will come in at 5-3-1.

The all-time series, which dates back to 1970, is tied, 6-6, with Cincinnati outscoring New Orleans, 251-224.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 27.9 points, 435.0 total yards, 304.8 passing yards, and 130.2 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 2,816 yards and 18 touchdowns, running back Mark Ingram, who has accumulated 551 rushing yards with six touchdowns on 115 touches, and tight end Jimmy Graham, who has compiled 594 receiving yards, along with seven touchdowns, on 56 catches.

The Bengals, offensively, are averaging 21.9 points, 339.8 total yards, 222.3 passing yards, and 117.4 rushing yards a contest.

Cincinnati is paced by quarterback Andy Dalton, who has passed for 1,960 yards and eight touchdowns, running back Giovani Bernard, who has rushed for 446 yards and five touchdowns, and Mohamed Sanu, who has 41 receptions for 648 yards and four touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 366.0 yards-per-game, which ranks 19th in the league, while the Bengals are allowing 391.9, which ranks 30th.

The game marks the first of three-consecutive games against members of the AFC North for the Saints.
