Saints Expected To Add Two Veterans
The New Orleans Saints are continuing to tinker with their 90-man roster.
The Saints are expected to add offensive lineman Khalif Barnes and tight end Clay Harbor, following their rookie minicamp over the weekend.
The 35-year old Barnes is an 11-year veteran, who played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2005-2008), before spending 7 seasons with the Oakland Raiders (2009-2015).
A native of San Diego, California, Barnes was on and off the Saints roster five times since signing last August.
Last season, Barnes reportedly weighed 358, but is now currently down to 314.
The 29-year old Harbor is a 7-year veteran, who spent three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (2010-2012), three seasons with the Jaguars (2013-2015), and part of last season with both the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions.
A native of Libertyville, Illinois, Harbor has caught 114 passes for 1,170 yards and eight touchdowns in his career.
