The New Orleans Saints have added a defensive lineman to their 2016 10-player practice squad.

Justin Zimmer, a 6-foot-3, 292-pound defensive tackle joined the Saints' practice squad on Tuesday.

After playing his college football at Ferris St., an NCAA Division II school, where he tied a single-season school record for sacks (13), and also set a single-season school record for tackles for loss (26) in 2015, Zimmer signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Bills waived Zimmer in late August.

A native of Greenville, Michigan, Zimmer was signed to the practice squad after the team signed center Jack Allen to the active 53-man roster last Saturday.
