New Orleans Saints first round rookie Andrus Peat suffered an MCL sprain early in the first quarter of last night's win over the Atlanta Falcons. He is expected to miss around 4 weeks of action, according to multiple reports.

Peat started at left tackle in replacement of starter Terron Armstead, who missed his second straight game with a knee injury, though began practicing on a limited basis earlier this week.

Peat, a rookie out of Stanford, was replaced by veteran 30 year old offensive lineman Tony Hills on Drew Brees' blindside. Hills signed with the team ten days ago due to injuries. He played 65 snaps in Thursday's win.

"I thought he settled in, especially when we were throwing it like we were," said Saints coach Sean Payton of Hills. "I really liked the look in his eye at halftime."

The Saints will enjoy a quiet weekend after playing the early Thursday game before beginning preparation next week for a road game with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, October 25th.
