The Kansas City Royals won Game 6 of the 2014 World Series on Tuesday night, blanking the San Francisco Giants, 10-0, at Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to even up the best-of-seven game series, 3-3.

Kansas City grabbed the lead with a big second inning, scoring seven run in the bottomof the frame:

The Royals extended their lead to 8-0 in the bottom of the third inning, when Lorenzo Cain doubled home Omar Infante:

Alcides Escobar added to the Kansas City lead in the bottom of the fifth inning with an RBI douyble, scoring Infante:

The Royals scored their final run in the bottom half of the seventh inning, courtesy of a solo home run off the bat of Mike Moustakas:

That was more than enough for Kansas City, who easily cruised to the shutout win:

Yordano Ventura pitched seven shutout inning to record the win for the Royals, while Jake Peavy suffered the loss for the Giants.
