Louisiana WR Jamal Robinson and LB Dominique Tovell were named to the first team on the All-Sun Belt Conference squad announced by the league Wednesday.

Cajuns DB Savion Brown was named to the second team, while RB Elijah McGuire, OL Octravian Anderson, LB Otha Peters and DL Chris Prater were honorable mention selections.  Freshman P Steven Coutts was named to the All-Newcomer Team.

Robinson, who missed nearly all of last season with an injury, led the Cajuns in receiving with 54 catches, good for 824 yards and five touchdowns.  Tovell led the Cajuns in tackles with 79, 52 of them solo stops.  He also talled seven sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss.

Brown intercepted three passes on the season, one that he returned 85 yards for a touchdown.  He also had six pass breakups and a fumble recovery.

Nick Arbuckle of Georgia State was named the Student-Athlete of the Year.  Larry Rose III of New Mexico State was Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year.  Appalachian State's DL Ronald Blair was the Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year.  Penny Hart of Georgia State was named the league's top freshman, while Georgia State's Trent Miles was named Coach of the Year.
