Robinson Cano Wants $305 Million to Remain With Yankees

New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano and the New York Yankees are said to be far apart in negotiations to keep him in New York.

ESPN’s Buster Olney says Cano wants $305 million over ten years, which is what Alex Rodriguez would make if he would meet all his incentives.

Cano will be the most attractive free agent on the market if he can’t come to terms with the Yankees.  New York has a window of exclusive bargaining rights, but it is believed Cano is ready to sign with whoever pays him the most money.
