Two more Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns received weekly honors today as DL Christian Ringo and PK Hunter Stover were named Players of the Week by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association.

Ringo shared the defensive player award with ULM's Hunter Kissinger, while Stover won the special teams award.

Ringo continued his stellar play this past weekend against South Alabama with three tackles for loss, a pair of sacks, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery.  His fumble recovery at the UL six yard line preserved a 12-9 lead.  The Cajuns went on to drive the length of the field and put the game away on an Elijah McGuire touchdown run.

Stover, meanwhile, was 4-4 on field goal attempts, including a 32 yarder that put the Cajuns on top for good.  Stover also had a pair of touchbacks.  Stover has not missed a field goal inside of 40 yards this season (10-10).

Cody Sokol of Louisiana Tech was named the offensive player of the week.
