Two Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have been named to the First Team All Sun Belt squad as selected by league coaches and select media members.

Senior wide receiver Al Riles and senior linebacker Otha Peters were both named to the first team, while senior running back Elijah McGuire and freshman defensive lineman Joe Dillon were named to the second team.

Riles caught 55 passes for a total of 665 yards and a pair of scores during his stellar senior campaign, while Peters was the mainstay of the vastly-improved Cajuns' defense.  He finished second on the team with 88 total tackles, 11.0 for loss.  He also broke up three passes, had five quarterback hurries and a fumble return for touchdown.

McGuire, despite playing injured a good part of the season, surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the third consecutive season, finishing with 1,028 yards and seven touchdowns.  He also caught 28 passes for 231 yards and a pair of scores.  Dillon led the team in tackles for loss (11.5) and sacks (6.0)  He also had three quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.

Wide receiver Keenan Barnes, offensive lineman Eddie Gordon, defensive lineman Karmichael Dunbar and linebacker Tre'maine Lightfoot were named honorable mention.

Arkansas State defensive lineman Ja'Von Rolland-Jones was named the league's Player of the Year.  Appalachian State's Jalin Moore was the Offensive Player of the Year, while Rashad Dillard of Troy was the league's top defensive player.

Freshman of the Year honors went to Appalachian State defensive back Clifton Duck, while Idaho's Aikeem Coleman won Newcomer of the Year honors.  Idaho's Paul Petrino was named Coach of the Year.
