Restricted free agent wide receiver Cameron Meredith visited the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, according to Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune.

Meredith, 25, has played his entire career with the Chicago Bears after he signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2015 out of Illinois State.

After an impressive 2016 season, he was a top the Bears depth chart heading into last season before suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during a preseason game.

Chicago tendered Meredith an original round draft pick, meaning they can match any offer Meredith receives from a team worth more than $1.907 million. If they don't match, they receive no compensation for his departure.

Meredith visited the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens last week before his sit down with the Saints.

At 6'3, 207 lbs, Meredith impressed with his body control and speed during his breakout season of 2016.
