Reports: LSU Close To Hiring Tom Herman As Head Coach
According to numerous reports, LSU is close to naming Houston's Tom Herman as their new head football coach.
ESPN is reporting
The 41-year old Herman is 22-3 with Houston in his two seasons there, including a win over Florida St. in last year's Peach Bowl.
A former graduate assistant at Texas, Herman was considered by many to be the Longhorns' first choice if Charlie Strong was let go there.
If Herman does indeed get the job, he would replace Les Miles, who went 114-34 during his tenure at LSU, including a national title.
