Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans will play in the national spotlight on Christmas day according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

New Orleans has not played on Christmas since 2008 when the then Hornets lost to the Orlando Magic in a dreadful game, 88-68.

The game is best remembered as the end of Chris Paul's NBA record streak of consecutive games with a steal (108).

With a Christmas day game comes a special uniform, with the Pelicans wearing this sweet swag.

Christmas day has become synonymous with premiere NBA games, as the league uses the holiday to showcase their best talent. A decision to include Anthony Davis is a smart one.
